Sky Rogue is a fwooshy rogue-lite action flight simulator developed by Fractal Phase.

This game had such a steep learning curve for me, it absolutely kicked my ass until I figured out what missiles + guns work best and for what enemies. Once I got into it, the dogfighting felt excellent. It's also a great game to play in short bursts. I still haven't beaten it, mainly because it's so tough to get to the boss stage. It's a rogue-like, so you start over every run (sort-of). The boss is super cool and I want to fight it again, I'll update this post if I ever best that motherfucker.
